Detailed Itinerary

Rishikesh to Govindghat via Joshimath

Pick-up from Rishikesh & arrival in Govindghat, Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
Drive Distance: Approx. 300 km | Duration: 10-11 hours
Reach Govindghat via Joshimath and check-in to the homestay.
Dinner & overnight stay.

Govindghat to Ghangaria

Start your journey early in the morning after breakfast.
Drive to Pulna | Drive Distance: 10 km | Duration: 1 hour
Start your trek from Pulna to Ghangaria, the base camp for the Valley of Flowers Trek.
Trek Distance: Approx. 9 km | Duration: 4-5 hours
The trail passes through picturesque villages and lush green forests.
Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains as you ascend towards Ghangaria.
Reach Ghangaria by late afternoon and check-in to your accommodation.

Ghangaria to Valley of Flower back to Ghangaria

Wake up early and have breakfast before starting your trek to the Valley of Flowers.
Trek Distance: Approx. 4-5 km one side | Duration: 2-3 hours
Trek through alpine meadows and flower-filled valleys, marveling at the vibrant colors of the flowers in bloom.
Spend the day exploring the Valley of Flowers, taking in the breathtaking scenery and capturing photos of the floral wonders.
After exploring the valley, trek back to Ghangaria in the late afternoon.

Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib back to Ghangaria

Today's trek takes you to Hemkund Sahib, a sacred Sikh pilgrimage site located at an altitude of over 15,000 feet.
Trek Distance: Approx. 6-7 km one side | Duration: 6-7 hours
Start the trek early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy cooler temperatures.
Trek uphill through rocky terrain and steep slopes, with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Reach Hemkund Sahib and pay your respects at the gurudwara before returning to Ghangaria in the afternoon.
