Har ki dun trek, also known as the hanging valley is a beautiful mesh of an exotic beauty & mesmerizing surroundings. It offers breathtaking views of unspoilt valleys in the far reaches of the Garhwal Himalayas that showcase Uttarakhand's unparalleled natural beauty.

A heaven for nature lovers, adventure seekers and shutterbugs alike, trekking through the Valley of the Gods, following the path once defeated by the Pandavas, leading to heaven through Swargarohini, a mountain overlooking Har ki Doon, will be a heavenly experience. This is the only valley where you can see the divine peaks of Swargarohini I, II, III, Bandarpoonch and Black Peak at the same time.

Detailed Itinerary

Dehradun to Sankri

Pick-up from Dehradun in the morning.
Distance from Dehradun to Sankri: Appprox. 200 Kms & 7-8 Hrs.
Arrive in Sankri, a quaint village nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas.
Meet your trekking guide and fellow trekkers.
Spend the day exploring Sankri's picturesque surroundings and acclimatizing to the altitude.
Overnight stay in a guesthouse in Sankri.

Taluka to Osla

Next morning, resume your trek towards Osla after breakfast.
Trek along the Supin River, crossing wooden bridges and traversing through terraced fields.
Pass through the ancient village of Gangad, known for its traditional architecture and warm hospitality.
Continue trekking towards Osla, a picturesque village nestled amidst apple orchards and terraced farms.
Reach Osla by evening and stay overnight in a guesthouse or campsite.

Osla to Har Ki Dun

Begin your trek towards Har Ki Dun, the highlight of the journey.
Trek through dense forests of deodar and pine, with occasional sightings of Himalayan wildlife like langurs and deer.
Ascend gradually, enjoying breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and cascading waterfalls.
Reach the pristine valley of Har Ki Dun, surrounded by towering mountains and alpine meadows.
Set up camp near the river and spend the evening exploring the valley.
Overnight stay in tents under the starry sky.
