Unraveling the Mystique
Kedarnath temple is roughly 1200 years old Himalayan temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located amidst the Himalayas near the Mandakini river, Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, Kedarnath is one the most visited temples in Northern part of India even after it's only open to the public between the months of April & November.
Kedarnath dham is located around 22 kilometers from a motorable road, an uphill trek from Gaurikund. Pony, mule, dandi palanquin and manchan service is available to reach the holy Kedarnath dham.
